Intravenous (IV) therapies involve administering nutrients like vitamins, minerals, amino acids, and anti-oxidants directly into the blood stream (intravenous). The nutrients bypass absorption within the intestines and avoid metabolism in the liver for a more potent therapeutic benefit. IV treatments make available a larger dose of nutrients that could not be absorbed by the gut providing a powerful intervention for both acute and chronic illness.
For example, high-dose vitamin C at a 40,000 mg (40 grams) would cause a lot of diarrhea if taken by mouth but in an IV infusion the body tolerates the high dose very well and it provides an outstanding treatment for the common cold and flu, knocking it out overnight. This vitamin C blast is the “cure” for the common cold and flu virus, i have not seen it fail in the hundreds of patients that i have treated for this condition.
An IV nutritional infusion that includes 40 grams of vitamin C, along with high-dose magnesium, zinc, selenium among other minerals and all the B vitamins is an excellent treatment for chemotherapy, surgery, and acute illness recovery. The nutritional infusion is excellent for most chronic diseases to help supercharge the bodies healing, vitality, cellular energy, and immunity. This infusion is also good for general health and wellness.
A vitamin C infusion has benefits as a cancer therapy beyond chemotherapy recovery; researchers have found a cytotoxic (killing) effect of high dose vitamin C on cancer cells. It works by increasing the levels of hydrogen peroxide in cancer cells but these cells, unlike normal cells, are not able to neutralize the cytotoxic effect of the hydrogen peroxide. Normal cells have catalase to neutralize the peroxide but cancers cells do not.
IV glutathione and Alpha Lipoic Acid are powerful antioxidants in the body which are best given as an IV treatment. They are an excellent supportive treatment for Parkinsons, Autism, Liver Disease, Neuropathy, and Detox.
